After a break in July, I'm hoping that for August, Tales of the City (book one in the series) by Armistead Maupin will be a more cheerful read than our last few. No promises though

Everyone is welcome who has read the book (or DNF, and is okay with spoilers) by the time of the meetup. The book club is hosted in English.
