The Gender Playground is coming to Leiden — for the very first time! ✨
Get ready to explore, create, and celebrate your drag persona in a space full of creativity, support, and glitter.
In two empowering workshops, you’ll:
✨ Develop your drag persona
✨ Craft your performance
✨ Create your own look with thrifted materials
✨ Get styling, hair, and make-up guidance from our incredible team
Our pro drag artists Shezo Xtra and Sho No Mercii from Haus of 4D will help you bring your first drag performance to life. The Collective’s clothing fairies and their collection of thrifted materials will support you as you sew, design, and sparkle. Visit our talented make-up artist at the beauty station for transformation tips, and gender-bend your hairstyle with guidance from our amazing hair stylist!

Redda will introduce the workshop guests and perform as well. (Performing is totally optional—but always fabulous.)
⏰ Workshops: 13:00–18:00
Optional dinner: Reserve a 3-course vegan meal at 18:00 for under €10 (20 spots available), or grab food in the nearby city center.
Party time: Doors open at 20:30 for The Gender Playground Party with DJ Miiish, performances by workshop participants, MC Redda, and more surprises!
