WTF Queer LatinX - Performance Night and Party
Omschrijving:
We invoke the southern lands, our rising spirit for social justice, the badass transfeminist passion, and the ancestral & diverse voices of the Latinamerican continent to come together for another Kuir Latinx Night. We start this 2020 celebrating our beloved queers: the undocumented mariconas, the refugees, self-exiled, the afro-latinx, the mestizxs, the migrants, the sudakas who fight imperialism, who fight machismo, who fight racism and marginalization, who fight transphobia, lesbophobia/homophobia and privatisation. All those dissident souls, being fabulous, standing in resistance both back home and in the ongoing limbo of the diasporas.
We the migrants take over WTF for a spicy night full of dance, performance, film, music and hot grassroots activism. We will be screening a short-film, host two performances and finish up with a DJ set.

**This night will be a benefit party for 'Marikas indocumentadas' / ‘Undocumented Marikas’ collective. More info will follow up.

Queer LatinX wants to meet more Queer LatinX people living or passing by here in Amsterdam. To get together and organize events. focused on LatinX activists and artists..
Zero tolerance policy for misogyny, anti-blackness, racism, homophobia, transphobia/TERFism, unsollicited touching, sexual harassment, Zionism, support of authoritarianism/totalitarianism, or any other kind of oppressive behavior/beliefs.
Suggested Donation: Between 3 and 1000 euros.(*free entrance for refugees)
Accessibility: the toilets in the Vrankrijk are not entirely wheelchair friendly, wheelchairs can fit in them but there are no support handles. Smoking won't be allowed indoors.
