This New Year’s Eve, Lesbival opens a portal at WORM into Queer Futures: a multidisciplinary sci-fi program in which queer creators, thinkers, and performers construct alternative realities. Like the queer community, sci-fi transcends existing systems and poses questions about gender, identity, and power.
Sci-fi allows us to bridge the gap between our powerful queer history and the hopeful, radical possibilities of our queer futures. As our queer future and our present are increasingly under pressure, coming together is more important than ever: to hold each other, to create, to imagine, and to collectively build the future we want.
