Omschrijving:

For the 3rd official Beyond the Binary meet-up, the theme is visibility:

> why is there so much weight on visibility (f.i. 'Transgender Visibility Day)?

> how visible are we as trans and non-binary people and what does this mean to us?

> how do we deal with our personal day to day visibility?

> why is the performance of trans*ness so popular, while we are still so unsafe in public spaces?

etc.

This meet-up series is meant as a support group for people who go beyond the gender binary: whether you’re trans, non-binary, genderqueer, gender-fluid, agender, questioning, or any other non-cis gender identity.

We ask that you judge for yourself whether this event is for you, but please keep in mind that it is very important that in this space, queering is a verb and we will do it.

The talk will be moderated by Non Sense, an experienced conversation-leader who is also a part of the trans-community.

If you are planning on attending, please send an email to info@queerrotterdam.nl so we have an indication how many people to expect! If you have any ideas for talking points or other questions, please also let us know.
