Queer in Wonderland is back at EKKO to guide everyone down our fantastic rabbit hole.
We are bringing Rotterdam's own Kiki House of Angels in town
for a night of fantastic vogue, poses, and a crazy level of energy!
You are all invited to join our magical BALL’ENTINE Kiki Vogue Ball.
This Ball is the ironic expression and Queer twist of the heteronormal and patriarchal St Valentines, celebrated the Ballroom Way, with plenty of sass, play and style.

RUNWAY OTA – JEWERLY
How boring, you just got showered with Roses for St Valentines but in reality you're about these jewels, diamonds and expensive clothes... Show your thirst for luxury and bring it in all-black accessorized with gold, stones and A LOT OF ATTITUDE!
FACE Non-Binary/FF/BQ – DIAMONDS
Love fades out, but Diamonds are forever... Bring it with your face dazzling at strategic spots with diamonds, and your phone's light to show us the sparkle.
NEW WAY – HEART
Show me what you got in that chest, come through with moves showing off how creative and loving your heart is - sometimes it's not just all bout the pxssy. Bring it with your fave gear and a heart, somewhere on your chest, the color is up to you. (make sure the heart is on your outfit).
VOGUE FEM OTA – SEXY & CONFIDENT
You broke up with your significant other, and your heart is broken, the night of the Ball you are dressed and pumped up resolved to make your ex chew their balls/tits/regret they left you. Bring it with your most sexy and confident outfit. Confidence, sexiness, revenge are your watchwords.
QUEER POET OTA REALNESS – FAMOUS POET
To honour the upcoming Queer poetry scene raising in NL, and to quote Mies, let you enjoy 'how queer poetry is deliciously defiant to heteropatriarchy' -
You are a queer poet with that iconic look of yours or inspired by famous poet, bring your poems about Love (poem or spoken word of your composition or quoted from an author, written or improvised) to the jury and audience, it needs to connect with your outfit, and you are able to explain how ;) .
You are free to come with a production (elaborate entrance) or not.
(poems are 30s long max, keep us captivated during your battle).
