Queers Unite
Omschrijving:
WHAT: Queers Unite
WHEN: Wednesday, 6th of September, 19:00 - 21:30
WHERE: @The Hole (zoutziedersstraat 20)
Every year we plan a ‘Queers Unite’, a sort town hall meeting with the queer community to involve them more in the planning and organising of our events and organisation as a whole.
After almost 2 successful years as Stichting Queer Rotterdam, we want to keep thinking ahead for the coming year(s).
For this, we invite all of you to join us!
We will be showing you how we work at Queer Rotterdam, what our structure is, our way of working, what drives us and what we are aiming for in the coming time.
While we have lots of ideas already for next year, we want to involve the whole community in deciding what we actually need and want.
Last year, we focused a lot on the type of events that we organise. This year, we want to focus more on the HOW.
How do we need to create our events?
How do we need to host?
How do we need to care for each other?
How can we involve the community more?
How can we stay a healthy organisation?
These are the things we want to discuss with you! Whether you are just a regular participant, a newcomer, a current QR organiser or even someone who wants to be more actively involved.
Our aim is twofold; first to gather feedback from the queer community and second to find people that would like to help out more with QR and showing how that can be possible.
We look forward to hearing from you and are excited about what we can gather from all of you!
PS: There are no expectations from our side, we are just happy to hear from all of you.
You can sign up by sending us a DM or e-mail, or by using our website (https://buff.ly/3ne4HHJ).
